Other Alien races
There are a few other main races in this galaxy besides Alternians the main ones are Terran, Cabit, Alluran, Grellion, Rirhate, Koran, and Essenti. You may have seen these on the galaxy map. There are other races of aliens in this universe as well but these are the main powerhouses, or rather the main races that contribute more to this universe and have more background. Most of these races hold a certain amount of the galaxy in different territories besides Koran. Grellion are the newest of the big races while Terran brings up a close second. Most of the galaxy consists of wide open space in between actual habitable planets but most that are habitable are owned by empires or otherwise have been terraformed to be livable and sustain life. These are much harder to find in the outer ring of the galaxy since those planets are usually younger than most. Those planets are the Wild West of the galaxy, no one owns them so they are free for all. Same with planets that are outside of any nation's boundaries. Those mostly being trade planets and transit worlds.
(These aliens are made mostly by my s/o who indulges in my obsessive mind. while I do tend to throw some ideas at them they are pretty much the brain behind everything non alternian in Aleph Null. They will also remain anonymous at their request)

Cabits: Blue or purple, kangaroo like with big ears

Rirhathe: grey/purple with four arms, usually wear many layers
​
Koran: Small sloth like creatures with bone like face plates
​
Alluran: large semi-bipedal bovine like aliens with big lion manes
​
Grellion: lizard folk with larger females and smaller more colorful males
